Feasibility Studies
Following a request for proposals issued in September 2007, four
promising insurance and financial instruments for large scale
and small scale renewable energy projects have been selected as
feasibility studies cases.
The selected instruments are as follow:

- Global Renewable Energy Insurance Facility
for Large and Medium Scale Renewable Energy Projects,
study conducted by Carbon Re, Munch Re, Royal & SunAlliance,
Climate Capital, GSDP, PRS and UPCAR Tunisia [Feasibilty

- Insurance Solutions for Small Scale
Biomass Power projects in India, by Crestar Capital,
National Insurance Company and IFFCO/Tokyo General Insurance
Co. LTD [Feasibility

Each feasibility study will examine the market prospects in terms
of regulatory environment, investment climate, data reliability,
availability of local financing and potential demand for the product.
