Ozone protection, Climate change and Energy efficiency: Montreal -Kyoto The second special international issue of the magazine "Industria & Formazione" featuring articles written by internationally-renown experts in industry, government, and research institutes. This issue focuses on alternatives to HCFCs, including both natural and fluorinated refrigerants. Paper to be in 'Short Supply' at International Ozone Gathering Delegates in Doha, Qatar, attending the 20th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol and the 8th Conference of the Parties to the Vienna Convention on the protection of the ozone layer, are being issued with laptops and given lessons on how to minimize paper in terms of documents, reports and publications. Vacancy Announcement - Senior Environmental Affairs Officer, P-5 - Paris 14 November 2008 \| UNEP This officer, a member of UNEP's Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) team, will be responsible for the overall operations of the CAP regional activities; providing substantive guidance to the CAP regional teams on information to be provided to national ozone officers; establishing strategic linkages with networking activities, institutional strengthening, training and implementation of national compliance plans; and identifying the linkages between the Montreal and Kyoto Protocols and facilitating the transfer of environmentally friendly technologies and policies among network members.
