Inspiration to act
. Why is the ozone layer threatened? What are the implications of ozone depletion, and what can be done to prevent it? What contribution can developing countries make towards the phase-out of ozone depleting substances? This video provides responses to these questions, targeted at a general audience. It can also be useful for specialists involved in activities to implement the Montreal Protocol as an awareness raising tool, as part of a national information, education and communication (IEC) campaign. It is accompanied by a booklet presenting background information on the themes covered in the video in a question-and-answer format. The booklet also suggests subjects for discussion and provides references where information can be found.
