Inspiration to act. Why is the ozone layer
threatened? What are the implications of ozone
depletion, and what can be done to prevent it?
What contribution can developing countries make
towards the phase-out of ozone depleting substances?
This video provides responses to these questions,
targeted at a general audience. It can also be
useful for specialists involved in activities
to implement the Montreal Protocol as an awareness
raising tool, as part of a national information,
education and communication (IEC) campaign. It
is accompanied by a booklet
presenting background information on the themes
covered in the video in a question-and-answer
format. The booklet also suggests subjects for
discussion and provides references where information
can be found.
